🧽 Why Interior Cleaning Matters
Your car interior is where you spend most of your time — and it deserves the same attention as the paintwork.
From dusty dashboards to stained seats, a dirty interior ruins the driving experience and lowers the value of your car.
✅ What You’ll Need:
-
Interior-safe all-purpose cleaner
-
Microfibre towels
-
Soft interior brush or detailing brush
-
Vacuum with crevice attachment
-
Upholstery cleaner (for fabric or carpet)
-
Optional: air freshener or interior detailer spray
🪑 Step-by-Step Interior Detailing
1. Remove Rubbish & Mats
Clear out any clutter, personal items, and take the floor mats out for separate cleaning.
2. Vacuum Everything
Start top to bottom: headliner → seats → floor
Use a crevice tool to get into vents, seams, and under seats.
3. Clean Plastics & Dash
Spray APC (All-Purpose Cleaner) onto a microfibre or brush, not directly on surfaces.
Wipe down:
-
Dashboard
-
Door panels
-
Centre console
-
Gear knob
Avoid over-saturating electronics!
4. Detail the Vents & Small Gaps
Use a soft brush to agitate dust and vacuum while brushing to lift out buildup.
5. Clean Seats & Fabric
For cloth: apply upholstery cleaner, agitate with brush, blot with a towel
For leather: use a leather-safe cleaner and conditioner (never harsh APC)
6. Floor Mats & Carpets
Vacuum first, then apply cleaner. Agitate and blot or extract.
✨ Pro Tips:
-
Use two towels: one for cleaning, one for buffing
-
Clean glass last — avoid streaks by using a dedicated glass cloth
-
Finish with a non-greasy interior detailer for a fresh, matte look
